Hard work. Performance. Flexibility. Versatility. These are just a few of the things that Vauxhall vans claim that the Vauxhall Vivaro is built for. Given the number of available variants for the Vauxhall Vivaro, it's hard to disagree.
Vauxhall Vivaro van
The Vauxhall Vivaro is available in panel van, doublecab, combi and platform cab variants, offering operators a range of transportation solutions. The Vivaro is also equipped with a host of convenient features intended to make the working day easier.
All Vauxhall Vivaro models offer Bluetooth and USB connectivity, Aux-in socket, DAB digital radio, and steering wheel-mounted controls.
Economic efficiency is provided by Vauxhall's superb selection of 1.6-litre turbo diesel engines, in addition to some advanced technology implementations. These include ecoFLEX technology, ECO mode, Start/Stop and Brake energy regeneration.
ecoFLEX technology helps to reduce fuel consumption, achieving a higher mileage with a lower carbon footprint. Vauxhall's ECO mode optimises key system settings and prompts more efficient driving. Start/Stop not only saves fuel by cutting the engine when idle but also reduces emissions. Finally, Brake energy regeneration re-uses the energy recovered from vehicle braking to help reduce overall fuel consumption.
Vauxhall Vivaro Panel Van
The Vauxhall Vivaro panel van offers a choice of two wheelbases. An easy-access, nearside sliding door has an aperture of 1m, while the rear doors open to 165 degrees - both big enough to take a Euro pallet! All models come with a full-height steel bulkhead and a 12v socket in the load area. Vauxhall's FlexCargo bulkhead extends the loadspace length up to 4150mm while maximum payload is a whopping 1274kg.
High-roof (or H2) versions are also available. Not only can they carry larger loads, they provide a full standing height. The only drawback to choosing a high roof model is that you lose around 50kg in payload.
Vauxhall Vivaro Doublecab
Also offering a choice of two wheelbases, the Vauxhall Vivaro Doublecab (or crew cab, depending on how you butter your bread) provides comfortable crew transport as well as ample loadspace. Offering up to 4 cubic metres, the Vivaro Doublecab is surprisingly accommodating.
The Vauxhall Vivaro Doublecab allows you to carry up to 6 passengers; three in the front (including the driver) and three in the back, on a rear bench seat. Sportive models get a bench seat with additional storage, armrests and a 12-volt accessory socket. The sidewalls are trimmed to half-height and house a storage pocket for convenience. Payload for Doublecab models goes up to 1061kg.
Combi
If you're unsure what a 'Combi' is, just think of a minibus. Standard features of the Vauxhall Vivaro Combi include a nine-seat configuration, rubber floor covering, and a half-height sidewall trim. The tailgate is glazed and is home to a heated rear window.
In terms of accessibility, the Combi features twin sliding side-access doors with fixed windows. Both the second and third row benches accommodate three passengers and are removable. In the second row of seats, there's an easy-to-operate split-folding seat to allow convenient access for back-row passengers.
Platform Cab
The Vivaro Platform Cab provides a perfect foundation for specialist conversions that need low floor and walk-through access from the cab.
Key features of the Platform Cab variants include a maximum GVW of 2990Kg, a versatile long wheelbase of 3498mm, a comprehensive list of comfort and safety equipment and an optional extended-length wiring loom. Oh, and payloads of up to 1899Kg.
