The Renault Trafic is a medium van designed for professionals. From September this year professionals will have another Renault Trafic to choose from, in the shape of the new high-spec nine seater SpaceClass van.
Renault Trafic SpaceClass introduction
Renault have announced their latest van from their Trafic range, a high spec passenger van designed for the executive customers within the shuttle market. The new Renault Trafic SpaceClass will rival top spec people carriers and high end minibuses including the new Toyota Proace Verso and Volkswagen Caravelle. Renault believe the new SpaceClass will be a class-leading van for passenger space and comfort.
Renault Trafic SpaceClass interior
The SpaceClass has seating up for to nine people and a modular seating system on the back two rows of seats. Renault believes that this modular seating system enables over fifty different arrangements. Renault believe that this level of flexibility is standalone in the shuttle segment.
With the focus being comfort for the executive passengers, the interior will contain a range of features to ensure this is achieved, features will include: USB sockets to charge phones, tablets and laptops, individual LED reading lamps, regulated air conditioning, leather upholstery and tinted windows. Pivoting seats and a removable central table also allow for the cabin to be turned into a mobile office at the passenger's wish.
Comfort and luxury is not completely aimed at the passengers, the front of the cabin has also been paid attention. Cabin features will include: leather lined steering wheel, abundant storage sections, 7-inch touch screen with Satellite Navigation and R-Link with Android Auto. Some trim levels of the SpaceClass will also include a reversing camera.
