Mercedes Vito
The Mercedes Vito van has not been altered in terms of dimensions and engines, with the medium van from the iconic Mercedes vans range still available in three van lengths, however these are no longer labelled Compact, Long and Extra Long and are now badged L1, L2 and L3 respectively.
Pure, Progressive and Premium
The revised Mercedes Vito medium van range starts with base level Pure models which come with a host of standard features including: Leather steering wheel, eight-way adjustable driver's seat, automatic lights, parking sensors, heated door mirrors, Active Park Assist and an infotainment system complete with Bluetooth, USB, AUX and SD card connectivity.
The next model up the range is the Progressive trim level, these contain all of the features boasted on base level Pure models and all of the following additional features: Uprated infotainment setup with colour screen, wheel trims, metallic paint, front fog lights, colour coded bumpers, driver's seat lumbar support and cruise control.
Premium models top the new Mercedes Vito range with features including: 17-inch alloy wheels, air conditioning, reversing camera, velour floor mats and pre-installation for satellite navigation.
Five different power outputs available
As before, the Mercedes Vito is available with a selection of two diesel engines with no fewer than five different power outputs. Base level Pure models come with a 1.6-litre engine badged 109 CDI and 111 CDI which offer outputs of 87ps and 112ps respectively. These two engines are also available with Progressive trim models, in conjunction with two versions of a 2.1-litre engine badged 114 CDI and 116 CDI delivering 134ps and 163ps respectively. Top spec Premium models are available with these two 2.1-litre offerings as well as a more powerful 187ps 119 CDI option.
The smaller 1.6-litre engines send the drive to the front wheels of the van through a six-speed manual transmission, whereas 2.1-litre models are rear-wheel drive and are available with a selection of manual and seven-speed automatic transmissions dependent on your choice of model.
