New Citroen Berlingo crew van from Vansdirect
Named International Van of the Year 2019, the new Citroen Berlingo van has been lauded since joining the small vans market, the versatile small van is now available as a five seater crew van, giving buyers even more choice.
The new Citroen vans will feature seating for five (including the driver), with a folding second row of seating and a through-loading moveable mesh bulkhead. The new Citroen van is based on the XL bodystyle from the Citroen Berlingo panel van and will be available in Enterprise trim level at first.
With the second row of seating in place, the Citroen Berlingo van offers a maximum load floor length of 1.45 metres and a load volume of 1.8 cubic metres in comparison with the 3.8 cubic metres in the equivalent Citroen Berlingo panel van. Folding the rear seats improves the maximum load floor length to 2.0 metres and load volume to 3.5 cubic metres.
There's also the option to fold the front passenger seat and make use of the through-loading hatch to increase load length to a staggering 3.05 metres and load volume to 4.0 cubic metres. The new Citroen van is incredibly flexible, however payload is compromised slightly over panel van versions, with a maximum payload of 850kg in new crew van versions.
There's a choice of engine options available with the new Citroen vans, including a 1.2-litre 110ps petrol engine with six speed manual transmission, a 1.5-litre 100ps diesel engine with a five-speed manual transmission or a 1.5-litre 130ps diesel engine with an eight-speed automatic transmission.
As the new Citroen vans are Enterprise trim level, they come loaded with standard features which are consistent with Enterprise models of the new Citroen Berlingo panel van, including: Air conditioning, rear parking sensors, cruise control, electric folding door mirrors, automatic electronic parking brake, 8-inch touchscreen with Apple Carplay and Android Auto and DAB radio.
New Peugeot Partner crew van
Also named as International Van of the Year 2019 alongside the new Citroen Berlingo and new Vauxhall Combo vans, these three small vans for sale are almost identical, with the badges and front end designs of the vans the main way to tell them apart. This is also the case for the new crew vans, with the new Peugeot vans being almost identical to their Citroen vans counterparts.
The new Peugeot Partner crew van is based on the Long length Peugeot van and will be available in the Professional trim level equivalent to the Enterprise trim level in the new Citroen van. There's also a second row of three seats behind the two front seats, with a folding and sliding mesh bulkhead with a through loading hatch.
Load lengths and load volumes of the new Peugeot vans are identical to those found in the new Citroen Berlingo crew van with a load floor length of 1.45 metres and load volume of 1.8 cubic metres increasing to 2.0 metres and 3.5 cubic metres respectively with the rear seats folded. Like the new Citroen vans above, there's also the option to fold the front passenger seat flat and make use of the load-through facility in the bulkhead to extend load length and load volume further.
As these new Peugeot Partner vans are Professional trim models, they boast a generous level of standard equipment including: air conditioning, rear parking sensors, cruise control, automatic electronic parking brake, electric folding door mirrors, DAB radio and an 8-inch touchscreen with Apple Carplay and Android Auto.
