1. Mercedes-Benz eVito
Benefits

Range
The Mercedes-Benz eVito van offers a pure electric range of up to 162 miles (WLTP). Using an 11kW AC charger, you can charge the battery from 0-100% in around 6 hours and 30 minutes. It’s estimated that it costs around 32p/kWh to use an AC charger, meaning that it will be £19.20 to charge your battery to 100%.
Using a DC fast charger, it will take around 35 minutes to charge the battery from 10-80%. This should cost you £28.98, based on the cost of the DC charger being 69p/kWh.
Technology
You’ll find plenty of technology on offer inside the Mercedes-Benz e-Vito van. As standard, the Audio 30 multimedia system includes audio streaming, and smartphone integration. As well as Bluetooth connectivity.
The optional Audio 40 system builds on this with a 3D navigation system and a wide range of infotainment features.
Standard driver assistance features include Active Brake Assist, Headlamp Assist, and Attention Assist. While optional features include Blind Spot Assist, Highbeam Assist Plus, and Traffic Sign Assist.
Value
Mercedes-Benz estimates that you could save over £6,000 a year alone in fuel costs with an eVito compared to its diesel counterpart.
The eVito van is also eligible for the government’s Plug-in Van Grant (PiVG) which can save you up to £5,000.

2. Renault Kangoo E-Tech
Benefits
With the Renault Kangoo E-Tech, you can experience a car-like driving position which makes it perfect for city driving. It was also awarded Best Small Electric Van at the 2024 What Car? Awards.
There’s no need to worry about compromising on space, as the underfloor lithium-ion battery has no impact on the load space. Two versions are available – L1 and L2, with a maximum load volume of up to 4.9m3.
Range
The Renault Kangoo E-Tech offers an electric range of 186 miles (WLTP). To charge the battery from 15-80% it will take around 31 minutes using an 80kW DC charger, or five hours using a 7.4kW home charger.
Renault has partnered with Mobilize Power Solutions to take care of all your charging needs. They can help you install a home charge point or you can buy a Mobilize charge pass. The pass gives you special rates across a network of public charging stations and the ability to securely pay using your smartphone.
Technology
Enjoy a range of technology that’s designed to enhance the way you do business. The easy link multimedia system helps you stay connected on the road with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
You can also be confident of a safe drive with up to 20 driver assistance features. These include Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Keeping Assist, and more.
Value
Renault estimates that you can save over £500 a year with the Kangoo E-Tech compared to the petrol equivalent. This is based on an annual mileage of 10,000 miles per year and fuel consumption of 49mpg.
When compared to the diesel version, you could save over £600 based on the same mileage and fuel consumption. This makes the Renault Kangoo E-Tech great value for money.
3. Citroen e-Dispatch
Benefits
Enjoy the same great benefits as the Citroen Dispatch, but with lower running costs and no emissions. Choose from two sizes – medium and extra-large, as well as crew vans and panel vans.
You can also benefit from a load space of up to 1,275kg. The Citroen e-Dispatch is one of the vans eligible for the government’s Plug-in Van Grant (PiVG). This means you can save up to £5,000 off the cost.
Range
With the Citroen e-Dispatch, you can enjoy an impressive WLTP range of up to 196 miles. There are two battery sizes on offer, with a 50kWh battery offering up to 143 miles. While the 75kWh battery offers up to 196 miles.
The 50kWh battery can be charged in as little as 24 minutes using a 100kW charger, or 4 hours and 31 minutes with a 7.4kW charger. You can charge the 75kWh battery in 36 minutes using a 100kW charger or 6 hours and 46 minutes using a 7.4kW charger.
Technology
Inside the Citroen e-Dispatch, you’ll find a 7” colour touchscreen with Citroen Connect. However, if you upgrade to the Driver trim, you also have access to Citroen Connect Navigation.
To help your workday run smoothly, there are also 16 driver aids and safety features. These range from Blind Spot Detection to Collision Risk Alert.
Value
Compared to the diesel equivalent, you can enjoy low running costs with the Citroen e-Dispatch and great value for money. Not only will you save money on fuel, road tax, and congestion charges – but also on servicing and repairs. With an eight-year battery warranty as standard, it means you can enjoy a long and happy life with a Citroen electric van.
4. Nissan Townstar EV
Benefits
If you need a small city van, the Townstar EV is a great choice. With an impressive range, low running costs, and fast charging times, what’s not to love?
Two lengths are available with a load space volume of 3.3m3 in the L1 version and 4.3m3 in the L2 version. You can also customise the cabin based on your business needs, with the choice of two or three seats.
Range
The Nissan Townstar EV offers a range of up to 183 miles (WLTP). You can charge at home, work, or on the go.
If you quickly need to power up, you can charge the battery from 20-80% in as little as 33 minutes using a 130kW rapid charger. But if time is on your side, you can charge up in 4.6 hours using a 7kW home charger.
You can take advantage of off-peak electricity rates to lower your running costs even further, if you do decide to charge from home.
Technology
With the Nissan Townstar EV, you can benefit from more technology than your standard small van. Nissan has introduced a range of features that are typically only found in passenger vehicles.
These include assisted driving and safety technologies, including a 360-degree view camera. You can also enjoy a range of Nissan Connected Services, which provide navigation and driving assistance.
Value
There are plenty of reasons that make the Nissan Townstar EV a great van choice. The Plug-in Van Grant will save you up to £2,500. If you live in London, you could also be eligible for a scrappage grant.
This offers up to £9,500 when you scrap a none-ULEZ (Ultra Low Emission Zone) compliant van. The grant is available to eligible sole traders and small businesses.
5. Vauxhall Vivaro Electric
Benefits
Not only do you get an impressive range with the Vauxhall Vivaro Electric van – but also an impressive payload. The 50kWh battery offers a payload of up to 1,226kg and a gross vehicle weight of up to 3,100kg.
While the 75kWh battery offers a slightly smaller payload of up to 1,002kg and a 3,100kg gross vehicle weight. Both battery options also offer a maximum towing weight of up to 1,000kg.
Range
The Vauxhall Vivaro Electric van offers two battery options. Choose from the 50kWh battery with a WLTP range of up to 143 miles. Need a longer range? The 75kWh battery offers up to 205 miles WLTP.
With a 100kW charger, you can charge the 50kWh battery from 0-80% in 30 minutes. The 75kWh battery takes slightly longer at 45 minutes for 0-80%.

You can benefit from plenty of technology to make your workday run smoothly with the Vauxhall Vivaro Electric van. View important information on driving conditions, range, and key operating systems, so you’re never left caught out.

6. Peugeot e-Partner
Benefits
There is no compromise on performance with the e-Partner van compared to the diesel version.
Standard and long lengths are available, as well as panel and crew van options. The maximum payload is up to 800kg, while the maximum towing capacity is up to 750kg.
Range
Experience an impressive range of up to 171 miles (WLTP) with the Peugeot e-Partner van. You can restore 80% of your driving range in just 30 minutes using a 100kW fast charger.
Using a home wall box and the standard 7.4kW onboard charger, you can get a full battery in 7.5 hours. While the optional 11kW on-board charger reduces charging time to five hours using a home wall box.
Technology
Stay connected on the road with a large 8” colour touchscreen and mirror your smartphone to see important information. There’s also a 3D Connected Navigation Pack which provides real-time traffic updates.
With the e-Partner van, all your blind spots are covered with a reversing camera function. As well as a long-distance vision function and passenger-side view.
Value
The Peugeot e-Partner offers you great value for money. Benefit from lower running costs, no road tax, and exemption from Low Emission Zone (LEZ) charges. Over your van’s lifespan, these costs will make a significant difference compared to the diesel powertrain.
