Stellantis Quartet Dominates European Van Sales Charts
The Stellantis Group has consolidated its position at the head of the European commercial vehicle sales charts for the year-to-date following the first two months of 2025.
The automotive powerhouse, which comprises four brands – Citroen, Peugeot, Vauxhall/Opel and FIAT – in its commercial Stellantis Pro One arm, held top position in eight of Europe’s top ten markets with its models.
The company, which was formed upon the merger of Fiat Chrysler and PSA (Peugeot-Citroen), currently offers a small, mid-size and large van under each of its commercial brands on a platform-sharing deal.
It’s this four-pronged attack that has allowed Stellantis to establish a dominant foothold in Europe’s commercial sector, hitting a market share of 32% in February (up from 29.5% in January).
Indeed, Stellantis Pro One now holds position as the top commercial vehicle group in Austria, Belux (Belgium-Luxembourg), France, Italy, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal and Spain.
Significantly, Stellantis Pro One’s success was accelerated by the positive sales performance of its BEV (Battery Electric Vehicle) models, accounting for a 34.1% market share in the electric sector.
