Limited Run Isuzu D-Max STEEL Edition Is Made Of Tough Stuff
Isuzu is showing its mettle with the launch of a new limited-edition flagship, the Isuzu D-Max STEEL Edition.
Marking a return of the special trim level after a successful limited run in 2024, the D-Max STEEL Edition is based on the latest iteration of the top tier V-Cross.
In STEEL Edition trim, this Isuzu D-Max is distinguished by a series of cosmetic, interior and technology upgrades aimed at giving customers a premium pick-up experience.
From the outset, the D-Max STEEL Edition stands apart from other models in the Isuzu pick-up range with its Steel Grey Mica colourway, plus the addition of dark grey wheel arch fender flares, rear arch extensions and roof rails. A dark grey grille emblem and STEEL-branded graphics complete the look.
Inside, the D-Max STEEL Edition boasts STEEL-branded embossed headrests, luxury carpet mats and LED scuff plates to enliven an already lavish interior that includes leather upholstery, dual-zone climate control and 8-speaker premium sound system.
The D-Max STEEL Edition also features an upgraded 9” high-resolution touchscreen infotainment system with faster connectivity and more intuitive interface. The model also comes with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration.
Under the skin, the D-Max STEEL Edition makes use of the tried and tested 1.9-litre turbo diesel engine offering 161bhp and 360Nm of torque. A payload of one-tonne and towing capacity of 3.5-tonnes remain unaffected.
Available now for a limited run of 250 units, the Isuzu D-Max STEEL Edition is priced at £42,695
Alan Able, Isuzu UK Managing Director, said: “The return of the STEEL Edition is a testament to the overwhelming response we received for last year’s model.
“Now built upon The New Isuzu D-Max, this latest edition offers not just bold styling and premium features but also the very latest in off-road capability, safety, and technology.
“With its new Rough Terrain Mode, upgraded ADAS, and refreshed infotainment system, the D-Max STEEL Edition sets an even higher benchmark.
“This limited-run model is built for those who demand more from their pick-up – whether for work or adventure – and we’re confident it will be another resounding success.”
