The Isuzu D-Max has been handed the annual Sustainability Award by Overlander 4x4 magazine in its annual end-of-year awards.
The D-Max was handed the award for providing drivers with a ‘combination of durability, low emissions, and exceptional performance on and off-road’.
Powered by a fuel efficient turbo-diesel engine, the D-Max has proven to be a popular choice for a wide raft of customers from trade users through to those who are looking for a dependable pick-up to use as a leisure vehicle.
“The rationale for D-Max winning the Sustainability Award is that over time, it has proved to be among the longest-lived vehicles on the entire market,” Alan Kidd, Editor of Overlander 4x4 magazine said, “and longer life means a lower footprint.”
"We’re thrilled to see the 4x4 Isuzu D-Max recognised for its long-standing sustainability credentials,” George Wallis, head of marketing at Isuzu UK, said.
“With its tough build, efficient performance, reliability and forward-thinking appsroach, the D-Max has always been a very capable long-term partner for our customers. And with D-Max BEV on the horizon, we’re driving toward a greener future, proving that the Isuzu D-Max is sustainably better for everyone.”
