The Fiat Doblo Cargo continues to dominate the awards for a highly competitive light van segment which includes incredibly popular vans such as the Citroen Berlingo, Peugeot Partner and Ford Transit Connect vans. However, the Light van representative from Fiat vans fought off the competition once again to scoop the prize that it's won three years running. Impressive when you consider that the Fiat Doblo Cargo van has only been around in its current guise since 2015!
Last year the Fiat Doblo Cargo van underwent a refresh and makeover, as part of the new makeover, Fiat vans added an increased number of wheelbase and roof options to offer a larger variety of new vans, which even included a chassis cab as the base for a dropside, a very unusual option in the light van segment.
The Fiat Doblo Cargo panel van is available in four versions, with the option of two lengths and heights, with load volumes ranging between 3.4 and 5.0 cubic metres. The level of choice and versatility does not stop there, with the option of four different engines: three highly efficient Euro 6 diesel options, with 95ps, 105ps and 120ps outputs and a solitary 95ps petrol option.
The Doblo Cargo is fitted with a whole host of standard safety features, including: ABS, electronic stability control and electronic brakeforce distribution, with some of these features being mandatory. The Fiat Doblo Cargo is also an excellent new van for fleets with a Gateway aiding connectivity using an interface to collect all of the key on-board data from the new van, which can be relayed to a fleet management system.
The Fiat vans line-up has expanded over the past few years, with a line-up that now also includes the Talento, Ducato and Fullback vans!
